Sharples High School Art Competition Gallery

We at Cardwells Estate Agents Bolton were proud to partner with Sharples High School in Sharples, Bolton to create an art competition for the children to take part in. The brief was for the children to create a room in a property using any artistic medium that they wished.  As you will see the standard of the entries wars incredibly high!

The prizes for the winners were:

£200 Blackpool Pleasure Beach Vouchers

£30 Amazon

£20 Amazon voucher

Andrew Cardwell was given the unenviable task of trying to decide upon the winners. Andrew says:

We were completely overwhelmed by the incredibly high standard of all the children’s entries. The artistic skills displayed across a large number of mediums was breathtaking. The talent that all of the children who entered displayed was utterly fantastic.  Some children had sketched pictures, some had painted pictures, others had created models, some had used computer design programmes, one student even made a room up using Roblox.  The thought and time that the children had taken was astounding.

It was an incredibly hard decision to whittle the entries down to three prize winners, it was so hard in fact, that on the day, a fourth place was introduced!”

The winners are:

1st Riya Patel
2nd Iman Khalid Nasir
3rd Abby Ho

Andrew Cardwell says:

“My congratulations go out to every child who entered the completion as everyone did such an incredible piece of work.  I hope that all the winners enjoy their prizes and that Riya Patel and her family have a wonderful day out at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. I was so pleased to be welcomed into Sharples High School as a guest and was made to feel so welcome.  All of the children who I was luckily enough to meet were incredibly polite, chatty and welcoming – thank you so much!”

We are very proud to tell you that Cardwells are supporting Bolton Hospice as part of their Patrons Scheme. Our Andrew Cardwell and Richard Cardwell visited the Hospice last week and were made to feel most welcome, and were presented with this certificate.

Andrew Cardwell says: “Richard (my Father) and I have long been admirers of the wonderful work and care that Bolton Hospice provides to the local people of Bolton. As a small Bolton business we are proud to give our support to their magnificent charity, safe in the knowledge that they will continue to provide love, compassion and respect for members of our Bolton community when they need it most. Although only modest, we wish to help in just a small way, so that their wonderful work can continue into the future. We send our thanks and gratitude to everyone at Bolton Hospice for everything that you do.”

Cardwells Bolton Hospice

We at Cardwells are delighted to confirm that we have become a Bronze Patron Member at Bolton Hospice. A vital service in our community they have been providing hospice care for Bolton since 1992.

Their consultant-led team of doctors, nurses and other professionals provide specialist care and support for local people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families, in the hospice, at their wellbeing hub and at home. They are an independent charity and all of their services are free of charge.

They are an independent charity mainly funded by the people of Bolton. To continue providing free care and support they need to raise £4 million a year through donations, fundraising and gifts in wills.

This is an essential service that each of us will either use or know someone who is supported by it and as such we are happy to help in our small way.

Cardwells Estate Agents were proud to sponsor 2020’s performance of Aladdin by ADA and the Barlow at the Barlow Institute in Edgworth, it was a great show.

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Cancer Research coffee mornings, it was really nice to share a cake or two and of course raise money for a cause that effects all our lives.

Well done to the brilliant children at Washacre Primary School for their wonderful entries in our Christmas card competition 2019, in particular our winners Paige, Conrad, Alana and Bobby.

2019’s Mission Christmas campaign at Cardwells Estate Agents Bolton and Cardwells Estate Agents Bury, was a great success.

In 2019, Cardwells Estate Agents Bolton held a Christmas Card drawing competition with Washacre Primary School in Westhoughton. There were two competitions; one for Reception, year 1, year 2 and year 3 and one competition for year 4, year 5 and year 6. The winning card in each competition was made up for either our Bolton or Bury office and sent out to clients in December 2019.

The winning children were announced in the school’s Celebration Assembly on Friday 22nd November 2019. In each competition the winning child received a £15 Smyths toy store voucher and the Runner Up received a £10 Smyths toy store voucher. Additionally Cardwells Estate Agents also made a direct contribution to the school.

We are looking to help make a difference but need your support for future years.  In 2019 we partnered with Hits Radio in their MISSION CHRISTMAS CASH FOR KIDS campaign. Both Cardwells estate agents Bolton, and Cardwells estate agents Bury offered our offices as drop off locations for your donations of new and unwrapped gifts.  We will keep you informed of our future involvement.
