January 2021 Property Market Update
These are extraordinary and unprecedented times that we are all trying to navigate safely. We hope you, our clients, and your families stay well.
That said, the property market is open and, of course so are we. Valuations, viewings, property visits for marketing (photos, recording walk through videos, floorplans etc etc ) are all allowed. We are open seven days a week. To a degree it is business as usual, just within the “new normal” and Covid secure methods.
The official guidance is:
“You can still move home…Estate and letting agents and removals firms can continue to work. If you are looking to move, you can go to property viewings. Follow the national guidance on moving home safely, which includes advice on social distancing, letting fresh air in, and wearing a face covering“
Of course, all appointments have to be carried out in a Covid secure manner, with the “Hands, Space, Face” motto at the forefront of our minds. In the first instance viewings will be via the pre-recorded virtual walk through video that we will share with you, only following this will a personal viewing visit be available.
The wheels of the property industry are still turning with future buyers active, new properties coming to the market, sales transactions progressing and residential lettings continuing.
We can prepare your property for marketing in a socially distanced manner and are happy to carry out valuations / photos / videos etc of the property whilst you wait outside / at a safe distance / in the car etc or, perhaps just leave a key for us. Whatever works for you, can work for us.
We have the details of many, many, potential buyers and tenants who are looking for their next home, even in these challenging times. So if you are thinking of selling or renting a property this may be a good time to begin the process.
Hopefully Lockdown 3 is over as soon as it is safe to be.
