Cardwells Estate Agents Installs Lifesaving Defibrillator in Bolton
Cardwells Estate Agents, a well-known and long-established business in Bolton, has taken a significant step to support public health and safety by installing a public access defibrillator outside its town centre office on Institute Street, just off Bradshawgate.
The new equipment will be available at all times, day and night, and can be used by any member of the public in the event of a cardiac emergency. With survival rates from sudden cardiac arrest increasing dramatically when a defibrillator is used promptly, the installation has already been widely praised. It demonstrates how local businesses can play an important role in safeguarding the wellbeing of their community.
Andrew Cardwell, managing director of Cardwells Estate Agents, explained why this was such an important initiative for the business and the surrounding area. He highlighted that the office is located amongst a diverse mix of shops, houses of worship, professional services, and a growing number of residential developments. The area is also home to students and young professionals, with Bolton town centre continuing to undergo significant regeneration.
